The Great Plains is viewed by many as downright boring. (Which it is never called when the sirens are screaming and everyone is heading for the basements).  Let's be honest.   It's flat. It doesn't have crashing waves or waving palms.  It doesn't have too many of those attributes that make photographer's lives easier. 

But that being said, the Great Plains, all in all, is a Great Place to live.  Neither my wife nor I was born here and it wasn't my lifelong desire to even visit here, but after all was said and done, it was where my wife and I decided to stay and raise our kids.  It's home.
